Is this only for new supervisors?
It is especially useful for new supervisors, but experienced leads use it to reset habits, sharpen conversations, and align a team around a shared standard.
How much time should I plan each week?
Most learners spend 30–45 minutes a week. Lessons are short enough to fit between a handoff and the next priority.
Can my employer track my progress?
Yes. If your account is connected to a company program, your manager can see progress and completion — not your private reflections.
What is included in the Fundamentals?
Maintenance Supervisor Fundamentals is a self-paced professional development training program with four practical courses covering the role transition, work control, preventive maintenance and equipment readiness, and quality, safety, and leadership. Successful completion awards a Maintenance Supervisor Academy Certificate of Completion; it is not a license, academic credential, or third-party certification.
Do I need a maintenance background?
The path assumes you know maintenance work and focuses on the people and operating decisions around it.
